The joy and the error

Ecclesiastes 2:3

After much thought I decided to cheer myself with wine. While still seeking wisdom, I clutched at foolishness. In this way, I hoped to experience the only happiness most people find during their brief life in this world.

Cracks in the current

The thought manifests as the word
The word manifests as the deed
The deed develops into habit
And the habit hardens into character
So watch the thought
And its ways with care
And let spring from it love
Born out of respect for all beings
